The cover of this magazine has a picture of a man riding a bike and the title and subtitle at the top.  The cover also has a heading and three subheadings on the bottom right side of the cover.  Some of the colors utilized in this magazine is very diverse as there are many different light and dark colors throughout the magazine.  The text is also very diverse although the majority of the titles of the articles have the same font (Underlined, Bold, and all uppercase.)  Many of the articles included in this magazine are about bicycles, people who ride them, and health statistics about them.  These articles appear about every other page and are interfered with advertisements.  Towards the middle of the magazine there are many uninterrupted articles.  Some advertisements that are included in this magazine promote health products, workout equipment, bicycles, and places to ride bicycles.  These advertisements in the beginning and end of the magazine ap...

The cover layout of this magazine is The title small at the top left corner with a larger sub title underneath it.  Underneath the titles, there is a picture of a Miami Heat player dribbling a basketball.  In the bottom right corner of the page there are three more subtitles that give hints about what the magazine's articles will include.  The colors utilized in this magazine are a light variant of red,blue, and light grey.  There are various fonts of text used to emphasize the article titles in this magazine.  Many of these articles include information about NBA players and their performance during games.  These articles are on about every other page or two to three pages in a row.  In this magazine, there are advertisements that promote clothing brands, fantasy leagues, and other basketball magazines.  These advertisements appear on about every other page in the beginning of the magazine.  On the cover of the magazine, there is a picture of...

The cover of this magazine has a picture of Justin Thomas with the title, Golf , being overlapped by Thomas.  This magazine also includes headings above the title, on the right of Thomas, underneath Thomas, and overlapping him.  These headings give hints about what the article of him would be about.  The colors utilized in this article are light colors with low intensity.  The colors consist of a dull blue, olive, gold, and also some black bordering the pages.  This magazine contains articles mainly about the golfer Justin Thomas and how he performed in various tournaments. This magazine is titled Sports Illustrated Kids: The Summer of Soccer .  This magazine had two covers.  The first cover was an advertisement for the movie Independence Day that took up the entire front page and entire back page.  The cover with the advertisement on it has the title Sports Illustrated Kids on the top center of the page.  On the second cover,  the title is once again in the top center of the page in lighter colors that fit the theme of the magazine better.  Lionel Messi is on the cover in his soccer uniform to catch the eye of people in grocery stores who know who he is and like him so that they will come and buy the magazine.  To the right of Lionel Messi, it has a subtitle that explains, "The Summer of Soccer."  This lets the reader know that there will be content in the magazine about soccer and the picture of Messi implies that the article will include him. I have decided to create a magazine for my project.  I chose this because I find myself reading magazines often at doctors' offices or in line at grocery stores and I find them very interesting.  I believe that I would be good at creating a magazine because of how I enjoy taking pictures and writing about topics that I like.  I feel that I will be able to do a good job creating a layout that would fit the theme and make the magazine interesting.

There are various aspects of film production that I am interested in based on my experiences and what I have learned in class.  I find the story line in films very interesting as they are most of the time very different and creative.  I also believe that it is very interesting how the creators of the movie have to do research on the backgrounds and surroundings of the movie so that it makes sense and is accurate.  I also find it very interesting how the editors can put music behind the scenes to make the film grab the audience and keep them focused on the movie and the story line.  I feel that I possess various skills that would make the film a good project fit for me.  I am very creative so I feel that thinking of a story and making a good film would be a fun experience for me.  Making a film would also be a good fit for me because of how I enjoy working on projects with other people to create things that will entertain.  Some things that might be a c...

There are various aspects of print journalism that interest me based on my experiences and what I have learned in class.  One of the main interests I have in print journalism is the research that has to be done to write these articles.  I find it very interesting that the article writer researches and learns a lot of information about the topic.  This research helps the writer be able to go in depth with the information about the topic and give a full analysis about their research.  In class, while watching Nixon , the journalists spent a lot of time researching to learn all the information about the Watergate scandal so that they can write facts about it in the paper.  I also find it interesting how the news teams have to work together to make sure that their are credible sources supporting the facts they receive to put in the papers/magazines.  It is interesting because of how the journalist/author has a risk of losing their credibility if the fact is not...
