Magazine Project Planning - Golf Magazine

The cover of this magazine has a picture of Justin Thomas with the title, Golf, being overlapped by Thomas.  This magazine also includes headings above the title, on the right of Thomas, underneath Thomas, and overlapping him.  These headings give hints about what the article of him would be about.  The colors utilized in this article are light colors with low intensity.  The colors consist of a dull blue, olive, gold, and also some black bordering the pages.  This magazine contains articles mainly about the golfer Justin Thomas and how he performed in various tournaments. These articles appeared on the majority of the pages although there are many advertisements surrounding them.  There are many advertisements included in this magazine.  Many of these articles promote golf courses, hotels, other magazines, car websites, and insurance companies.  These advertisements can be found throughout the magazine though many of them are found in the beginning and end of the magazine as there are very little in the middle of the magazine.  On the cover of the magazine, there is a picture of Justin Thomas finishing his golf swing.  On the title of content, there is a body shot of Justin Thomas looking at the camera touching his hat.  For the articles, there are photos of Justin Thomas in the tournament that the article is about.  The distribution number for this article is about 1,430,563.

3rd Quarter Final Submission

I have made various revisions since my last quarter's submission.  I updated my cover photo to a picture of Kane Reyes.  This picture has better quality and is a better shot for a cover, as it is an action-shot and I feel that it would persuade a reader to want to open the magazine.  I also updated the text fonts and the layout of the captions on the cover to a more professionally aligned position.  On the other three pages, I changed the background layout to a solid color of white considering that it would be much more expensive to print these pages thousands of times for magazines.  My third revision was that I had added more to my title of contents making it look more realistic/professional and added another picture onto the page of Drew Warrington shooting a mid-range shot.  I feel that these pictures all support the basketball theme of the first few pages of my magazine.  I feel that I am progressing to make the intro to my magazine ...
