Magazine Project Planning - Bicycling

The cover of this magazine has a picture of a man riding a bike and the title and subtitle at the top.  The cover also has a heading and three subheadings on the bottom right side of the cover.  Some of the colors utilized in this magazine is very diverse as there are many different light and dark colors throughout the magazine.  The text is also very diverse although the majority of the titles of the articles have the same font (Underlined, Bold, and all uppercase.)  Many of the articles included in this magazine are about bicycles, people who ride them, and health statistics about them.  These articles appear about every other page and are interfered with advertisements.  Towards the middle of the magazine there are many uninterrupted articles.  Some advertisements that are included in this magazine promote health products, workout equipment, bicycles, and places to ride bicycles.  These advertisements in the beginning and end of the magazine appear about every other page sometimes taking up two pages in a row.  The picture on the cover of this magazine is a man riding a bicycle, there is no table of contents, and the pictures included in the articles are pictures of people riding bicycles and graphs about the health.  The distribution number is 325,000.

3rd Quarter Final Submission

I have made various revisions since my last quarter's submission.  I updated my cover photo to a picture of Kane Reyes.  This picture has better quality and is a better shot for a cover, as it is an action-shot and I feel that it would persuade a reader to want to open the magazine.  I also updated the text fonts and the layout of the captions on the cover to a more professionally aligned position.  On the other three pages, I changed the background layout to a solid color of white considering that it would be much more expensive to print these pages thousands of times for magazines.  My third revision was that I had added more to my title of contents making it look more realistic/professional and added another picture onto the page of Drew Warrington shooting a mid-range shot.  I feel that these pictures all support the basketball theme of the first few pages of my magazine.  I feel that I am progressing to make the intro to my magazine ...
