Final Submission

Revision 1 - Cover

Image
I have gotten feedback from my peers that I need better branding on my cover page.  They told me that especially the title needs to be in a more unique font and my page numbers also need to be more unique.  I also put an outline on the orange text so that the font is easier to read. After receiving this feedback, I changed those features.  My title has the first letter in the Phosphate font and the rest of the letters in the word were in the font Times New Roman.  I also changed the orange subheading to black Times New Roman and put it in a black outline with a white background.  Lastly, I put more branding to the page numbers by putting the title of my magazine and title of the article next to the page numbers for better branding.

Revision 3 - Fix Photos on both Q&A and Article

Image
I was given feedback that I should realign the photos on the Q&A and Article to take away white space and make them more linked to the text.  I aligned the photo on the Article to the right more close to the text.  On the Q&A I redid the spacing for the photos and the captions underneath them to make them look more professional.

Revision 2 - Justify Text

Image
I was also given feedback that I needed to justify the text on the Q&A and so I fixed it and arranged the text so that they were all aligned.  I was also told that I should change the font on the article and Q&A to match the rest of my magazine so I changed the font to Times New Roman.

3rd Quarter Final Submission

Image
I have made various revisions since my last quarter's submission.  I updated my cover photo to a picture of Kane Reyes.  This picture has better quality and is a better shot for a cover, as it is an action-shot and I feel that it would persuade a reader to want to open the magazine.  I also updated the text fonts and the layout of the captions on the cover to a more professionally aligned position.  On the other three pages, I changed the background layout to a solid color of white considering that it would be much more expensive to print these pages thousands of times for magazines.  My third revision was that I had added more to my title of contents making it look more realistic/professional and added another picture onto the page of Drew Warrington shooting a mid-range shot.  I feel that these pictures all support the basketball theme of the first few pages of my magazine.  I feel that I am progressing to make the intro to my magazine ...

CCR 4

4. How did you integrate technologies in this project? To create my magazine, I used the computer program PowerPoint to create my magazine and I used themes and fonts from PowerPoint to setup the layout of the magazine.  I also used a Canon camera to take pictures of the players so I was able to load them up on my computer and I was able to load them onto my magazine.  These features were key for me to create my magazine.
